Make on Stovetop:

  1. Bring water and salt to a boil.
  2. Stir in oats.
  3. Cook 1 minute over medium heat; stir occasionally.

Note: For creamier oatmeal, combine water, salt and oats; bring to a boil; cook as directed.

 

Make in Microwave: (one serving)

  1. Combine water, salt and cereal in a medium sized microwavable bowl.
  2. Microwave on HIGH 1½ – 2 minutes; stir before serving.

Caution: Bowl may be hot. Due to differences in microwave ovens, cook times may vary.
