EPSOM SALT
Was discovered in a small, rural town named Epsom just outside London, England in the 17th century, hence the name Epsom Salt. The bitter, saline waters of that local spring were discovered to contain magnesium sulfate. Its healthful benefits were immediately extolled and the town became a spa destination as word quickly spread.
PURE EPSOM SALT/MAGNESIUM SULFATE USP
Has been used for hundreds of years to soothe muscles aches and pains, tired feet, and to hydrate and soften the skin. On the skin, it can act as a great rejuvenator and even an exfoliator. For best exfoliation results on the skin, add some of our Soothing Touch Bath, Body and Massage Oil to some Epsom Salt and gently rub into the skin.
Or, you can just soak in a tub and enjoy!
As a rejuvenating bath soak, after a workout or hard day with tired, sore muscles, in a warm bath, add 2 cups of Epsom Salt and soak for 15-20 minutes. As a revitalizing foot bath, add a half cup to a full cup of Epsom Salt in a pail of warm water, soak for 15 minutes and feel the difference.
