How Do I Use Squash Seed Oil?

Use as a savory, nutty complement to veggies like sautéed green beans, roasted cauliflower or sweet potatoes. Make a nutty vinaigrette with balsamic vinegar for salad greens or avocado. Brush on cut squash, peppers, or fish before grilling or roasting. The oil has a smoke point of 425°F, or medium-high heat.

 

Is This Oil Good For Me?

Yes! squash seed oil is vegetable-based with poly- and monounsaturated fats. Vitamin E, and beneficial antioxidants such as beta carotene.

 

How Is This Oil Made?

The oil is made from butternut squash seeds sourced exclusively from upstate NY family farms. Seeds are roasted and freshly expeller-pressed in small batches year-round at our Finger Lakes, NY production kitchen.


Directions

Keep in a cool, dark, dry place. For best flavor use within five months of opening or refrigerate.
